For El's classic year races for example I usually aim for low 400s in speed, around 300 stam and 300+ power with ~200 wit. The Derby might be hard to beat if your stamina isn't on the higher end of 300, but you should place easily. Sometimes you also just get late started into block, and clocking there is just unavoidable.

I have to run this deck because 3 speed only gets me 800, I regularly go all of senior year without a rainbow in speed at all. THIS is the best run I've had in almost 50 attempts. This abysmal statline should not be possible with 4 speed cards. I counted, I had 8 instances of 3+ speed cards on the same off stat card and 0 instances on speed. Someone help me understand the umalator, Vodka 1 has mile S and 1196 speed, Vodka 2 has 1177 speed and regular distance. Vodka 1 has just barely lower top speed despite overall better stats but no pumping iron inherit. I guess pumping iron is just really good for Vodka on this cm racetrack?
