Maybe you haven't equipped your team with good armor? That makes a big difference. Healing might be an issue but you should be okay if you save a few staffs of vivacity for the final boss.Also if you switch to wedge formation you'll get a big power boost. And you can cheese the game with hasten time magic, if you want.If you ever play RS3 again I recommend picking Mikhail as your main character. His army battle minigame is fun and he's the perfect character to take advantage of commander mode.
