Why is Ishmael still a member of the Sinners? Why is she wasting story presence that could go to actually significant characters with her incessant empty yapping? She's a dead branch- a narrative element with no yesterdays left to dredge, only circling around a status quo that precludes any future relevance. She has no ties, no mysteries, no personal connections remaining other than to Ahab. Are we really dragging this whale carcass of a woman around just so she can point at Ahab in Canto 12, say "I'm BLINDLY OBSESSED with you", and get a unique status effect for one battle? Just look at the collab for how her character has rotted- literally the only thing she did in Terra was say 'This reminds me of the Great Lake, this reminds me of Mermaids, this reminds me of sailing', regurgitating the festering scraps of Canto V's digestion like a cow chewing cud. For any limbabies starting out, some small stuff:>Support passives and the 3rd attack skill of an ID are unlocked on uptie 3>Your base IDs and EGO will automatically reach uptie 3 once you reach canto 3, which makes them better to have on the bench unless you uptied other stuff>Absolute res is when you chain the same color 3 times in a row, otherwise getting multiple of the same color in the same turn but not chaining it is just a res>You can borrow units from friends you add that are placed on the company tab, this does not apply to mirror dungeon>If you're using an AoE EGO on an fight that lets you aim, you can place attacks on enemies with other sinners, and then Aim the EGO, and the AoE will favor aiming at any non targeted slots. AoE is called "Attack weight" here>You can see clash values between you and the opponent at the top if you aim a skill. The top number if the min roll, and bottom is max roll. The % near that indicate how much more damage you're dealing with the attack, or less, usually determined by resistances>Meursault's base EGO is excellent for crippling bosses
