We should nuke china.
>>540663894but they have nukes too
>>540659192I've been met with this reaction before, is it so hard to grasp that with stronger legs, faster strides become less efficient, and instead we would adopt longer, leaping steps?
>>540664059they have water balloons
Think I'm going with this design for train stations this playthrough. The circuits are setting the train priority based on how full the station is, from 0 to 40 (since 4 strongboxes holds 400 stacks).Using 2x2 boxes is so that I can fit a 2x4 station in a 6 tile tall space, so I can have train stations every 8 tiles and cram them in together (matters more for space). It might be overkill since I might use 1x2 trains in space and I could have used 4x4 chests, but I don't know if I'll need more throughput in 10x.I could always go back to a loaderless design too, but I just finished a vanilla megabase and I kind of want to play with new toys.
>>540666728>using strongboxes>not longboxesngmi
>>540667108I don't like using containers-as-balancers. They can also be used to trivialize logistics, as I've seem some people do here.
>>540667502enjoy your ups death then
>>540667804What do you think in particular is causing UPS death here? I don't know if you know, but large inventories of the same item are no longer the UPS problem they were before.
>>540664059We should nuke their nukes.

>>540671018How's your mineshaft reserve, though?
>>540662190>captive
>>540672457>ALL YOUR BASE ARE BELONG TO US
>>540668117your circuit-based storage balancing, which is not necessary with longboxes
>>540673932That's not circuit-based storage balancing - it's just managing train priority.
>>540674652are you saying you don't balance your storage?
what's the dosh doin?
>>540674858It's very easy to distribute n belts into 4 belts. If you're going to say that 6 splitters per train station is UPS death, I don't know what to say to you.

Where do you even go to get better at math? I read the word sine, cosine. I lose the plot. I read the word "linear" and I don't get how it relates to 3D or even how to read the formula. Is there a reason why Pi and the square root of 2 both start with a 2 digit number followed by the same number+1 or is this just a coincidence? What's elliptic geometry and why are my paralel lines kissing behind my back?

This is what it looks like when the science you're crafting takes 80s per machine, I should have found a way to stagger it.

>>540687262No beacons unlocked yet, so I'm stuck (and for something as pricy as science, no way I use speed over prod)>>540687590My problem is that my labs are faster than my science right now (at least when researching 30s researches), and it would be a bit of a lift to scale up before beaconsI did buff the speed a bit (since I planned the build for no modules and I put prod1s in the orange science), but my labs are fast enough for the upcoming researches that it will still look goofyShoutouts to my warehouse mall letting me make both electric furnaces and speed1s without needing to use my one remaining 2x2 requester chest (the 6x6 requester from the cache is earmarked for the cargo silo).

Trainchads, how do I deal with this? My coal trains keep taking off prematurely and getting rammed by passenger wagons. It doesn't cause gridlocks or anything but I get these notifications several times a year and it's rather annoying. I would rather not turn them off since train collisions could cause actual trouble elsewhere.
>>540700823more signals
