The first kind would only be small and shit, let's say only peasant mobs, and as you fight and win victories, the numbers grow and you can eventually get a full stack, maybe a few peasant bowmen and men-at-arms. They would be free but with limited replenishment. If you wanted higher-tier units and better replenishment, then you'd have to spend more skill points but then you'd also have to start paying for them and maybe there would be a permanent diplomatic penalty (say -50 or something) with the faction you have declared an errantry war against. Maybe there could even be diplomatic penalties with all other factions from that race (target The Barrow Legion and all Vampire Counts will hate you when they meet you).

Started a new game after getting back from FanX. There's a new update from a week ago? Anyway, I started as Khemri. Turn 8 someone called "the purple hand" wanted to build a shrine in my city. My choices were "Accept it and receive 2000 gold" or "Accept it with a promise they won't do it again". I chose the promise not to build another. Turn 9 the purple hand wanted to build a shrine in my city. Again I chose to allow them to build it with a promise not to build another. Turn 10 they built another, I chose to take the 2000 gold. Turn 11 they built another. Turn 12 they built another. Now every city has a shrine of the purple hand spreading Tzeench corruption +8 per city. I took a new city on turn 12, turn 13 they built another shrine in it and my capital Khemri is revolting. I have 1 army led by Setra trying to defend agains Manfred von Carstein and I have to run 3 turns back to save my capital from Tzeench.Is this deliberate, or a bug? Because turn 13 my game is already over.

I have no idea where to expand to next. Egypt is just a border gore nightmare. Every province around me has multiple factions in them so I wont have clean borders unless I declare war on like 3 factions. I have this problem in every direction; every expansion route is inconvenient. I have two wars with far off enemies to the north and south but I can't reasonably get to them without conquering other factions between us. I have never been so aimless and indecisive in a total war game before. I legit have no idea where to go from here. I'm completely surrounded by factions. I've just been staring at the map for an hour, any suggestions? I have to conquer somewhere because i'm running a 3.5k food deficit every turn from just two armies.

That seems like the best route, but it has one issue: Irsu. They look like a 1-settlement faction on the map, but that settlement is actually the border gore of a vast empire that is number 2 strength in the world. I don't even know where their lands are. Maybe I'll just ignore them, walk past them, and hope for the best. Or, I can take it and hope they don't come for me. In any case, south seems the best option still.

The iron daemon has anti-large projectiles like the dwarf irondrakes and is also a chariot where the GROM UNBAXER is a chariot with still more collision attacks. Pick the former, and give it the hellforged option in the hellforge for +20 PR.
