Cele Alacrity Specter does like 20k DPS solo, and it's a hybrid healing spec.

The devs do this thing where they make new content according to how much power creep the game has gone through, without much consideration for A) how that content will compare with the legacy content that exists alongside it or B) how that power creep is distributed across the playerbase.

So it's not ridiculously tanky in QP or anything but it seems that way relative to all the older bosses that melt in seconds even to bad DPS, and the difference is more stark in QP and T1 than it is at, say, T4, because the last few years of power creep have mostly affected decent-to-good players rather than the bad/average types you'll find in QP.

Ghostly Infusions are 70-80g and are generally the cheapest way to get infusions with stats and agony resistance. The Eikrasia infusions cost 10 gold, roughly 10g worth of Ecto, and the Fractalline Spark. So if you were going to buy stat/agony infusions anyway, 150 Fractalline Dust is saving you 50-60g.

It's probably worth it to keep doing whatever dailies/weeklies are sticking around after the event, but I wouldn't powergrind Quickplay if you aren't having fun.

Janthir Wilds is locking the WV legendary kit, but at the same time fully doing expansions on 4 accounts is 195 bucks which isn't terrible...but the other option for the same cost is just 20 alt accounts each generating a minimum of 80s a day from just logins.

If you plan to multibox or just want a way to keep track of multiple accounts then gw2launcher works pretty decently
When you're signing up new accounts you can salt your email address when you sign up with anet to avoid having to manage lots of email addresses, so if your email was example@email.com you would do example+1@email.com, example+2@email.com, example+3@email.com and all the emails would go to your main email

Personally I didn't buy any expansions after POF for my alts because it's so expensive relative to what I could get out of them with those expacs plus that's a bunch of extra effort for unlocking waypoints, mounts, elite specs, etc.

I wouldn't buy expansions for alts beyond the HoT+PoF pack. The overwhelming majority of the benefit you get from having those accounts is going to come from the Wizard's Vault each season (unless you're doing shady AFK/bot farming stuff), and you don't really benefit from having anything past PoF if that's what you're using them for.
Even the solo Guild Hall stuff might be fun to do, but probably won't really pay for itself any time soon.

All I do with my alt accounts is wait for a Festival that has easy WV tasks, then do weeklies once or twice while that's running so that I can buy the Gold, Mystic Coins, and Laurels (for buying material bags) each season. It's maybe an hour or two every three months for 300-350ish gold per account.

axe has boon removal and the autoattack stacks vuln which can be useful if you need to stack conditions
it's more useful in pvp than pve

You can buy all seasons using gold -> gem conversion for a total of 3,328 gems(*) which amount to ~42 bucks.
