I will remove the bedrock around the gateways, so a ghast can ride through, LARPing as warp speed.
And i will build an enderman farm inside, where they get damaged by a waterstream and transported to the wither killzone as well.
Maybe enderman can ride a bubble column. There won't be a single block that they can tp to. Will see.

I've returned to the game recently after being gone for a while to say the least. I want to say it's been since maybe 1 major update after the End was added?
I'm a dozen some hours into a world but I'm starting to get bored of the surface worldgen. The biomes are huge but not very diverse and it's a lot of the same terrain it feels like. Like I really miss all the little floating island bits or really strange worldgen.
Is there mod(s) that readd or change the worldgen to have some of the whimsy that used to be in worldgen? Namely smaller biomes and less "sane" features or make the world feel a little less smooth.

TLDR I want some of the janky worldgen from the old days back. Mod recs?

Plus, the rain that accompanies thunderstorms usually puts out the fire from lighting strikes before it spreads too far. NTA but minecraft was absolutely not finished when version 1.0 released. It was extremely bug-ridden, and only about a year later they gutted true singleplayer from the game in a massive rewrite so the game used a local server internally (effectively meaning even singleplayer was running SMP code) - you don't do that kind of restructure to a "complete" game. The timing of version 1.0 was purely to line up with Minecon, the game itself was far from finished.

It is a multi-year project that i continue every now and then. The digging is finished, i went till lava-level and sections where i have farms till bedrock.

And the last parts i did with the help of a flying machine i came up myself.
It's only three high. Shoot at the noteblock, it moves one block to the side, launches the machine, it bombs forward, hits something, automatically returns and stops.
So i could do one vertical layer at a time and each time remove the lava and it would follow the shape.
