Part 2 is such a terrible addition to the game, it might as well be a new game entirely. Barely anyone can tolerate it because it doesn't follow the original ethos of the game. Its made by people who never understood/played part 1. They thought it's another iteration of that one dreaded game. Notice the goddess slop emphasis? Herrschers were never treated as quasi-equivalent to goddesses until a certain point. Part 2's equivalent of a herrscher is closer to your average Archonslop than to what herrschers actually were.
