I figured out the hero/build pick for climbing ranks while you're a retard and an aimletIt's not really a hard carry in itself, but it does have a powerful teamfight presence and lets you punch way above your skill level and enable wins, and it's a consistent, steady pressure so it doesn't require the team to be particularly aware to capitalize. The climb is slow and painful but it is inexorable.

Over half of the games I have played since yesterday where I've been trying to learn some new heroes have had me laning against Billy and some other shithead where I would have given my left nut to have just picked a character I'm more comfortable with.
