It’s a mess, but the fix is staring them in the face: DELVES.Delves are legit. You pick your delve, choose your difficulty (once you’ve cleared the lower ones), and you can spam them endlessly. Only limit is 4 bountiful delves a week, but the freedom is chef’s kiss. No timers, just a death counter, and you can solo or small-group it without screwing anyone over.Here’s the pitch: slap the Delve system onto M+. Let players queue solo or with a small crew, pick their dungeon, and choose their difficulty (scale it to +30, +40, whatever Blizzard wants). No timer, no key degradation, no punishment for failing or taking a week off. You can learn mechanics solo or with bros without torching someone’s key. It’s literally the fix for everything players have been screaming about.Blizzard’s half-assed M+ tweaks? Garbage. They don’t work, and they won’t. M+ sweats are locked into their ways, and casuals aren’t gonna touch it with the current band-aid fixes. >>541037114that is not the problem here. the problem is that the stats on gear 20x in 10 levels worth of progression, which is about an hour or two of gameplay. so if you dont replace all of your gear as soon as you hit 70, you'll still be sitting with half your slots having 40-120 stamina and primary stat, while level 70 gear that you are supposed to have has 3000-4000 stamina. a level 20 piece of gear might have 10 stamina, level 30 maybe 13 or 14, level 40 is 20 or 30 stamina, level 50 is like 100 stamina, level 60 is like 200 or 300 stamina, and then the graph just goes completely vertical where from level 60 to level 70 the stats on the gear jump so exponentially that it makes characters almost unplayable, and if you dont do the quests at the end of dragonflight as soon as you hit 70, you'll hit kazalgar in gear thats several orders of magnitude undergeared. even before the dungeon difficulty increase, this was going to be a problem, because the intended gear level to hit kaz algar is somwhere around ilvl 400, which is still 10x or more than gear only a few levels below it, and 100x the stats of anything more than 10 levels old, and you gain 10 levels in a matter of an hour or two of gameplay.

>>541040942shaman probably, evoker is also fun but prone to frustration when your party dodges your cones or temporal anomalies. resto druid is fucking stupid. the way their ramp works is stupid, the spec isnt about hots anymore, its all about stacking hots to buff regrowth and spam single target heals. they completely inverted what resto druids gameplay is supposed to be because HoTs fundamentally dont work as a playstyle in a game mode where everyones losing 75% of their health instantly ever 5 seconds. holy paladin is technically fun but lacks good ramp tools, its more about quick bursty procs, and it needs to put itself in harms way constantly which is fucking dangerous in M+, its basically a melee range disc priest. fistweaver is too but less so as it has a bit more flexibility with its range and much better cooldowns. holy priest i dont like at all outside of raids. it feels like so much of its kit is geared towards raid efficiency, its whole kit in m+ boils down to a handful of chunky single target heals and some passive splash healing. priest and paladin in general also severely lacks utility compared to like shaman or druid when it comes to CC or handling status effects or kiting. preservoker and MW are somewhere in the middle on utility. shaman is the king of utility.
