The anti-tunnel changes of the recent ptb were actually genuinely one of the best things killers have gotten in ages (aside from regression locked out for a consecutive hooks, and the anti slug change) but all the streamers did the thing where they tried to play centrist and said "mmm maybe this is too harsh on killers and its actually a good thing for blight and nurse" and they walked back the changes and we'll probably never see basekit pop or post hook haste or basekit bbq ever again proposed.

People are just bitching because of all the (empty) promises and quality of life features that never came to fruition, but honestly my average games are SO much better then they used to be even one-two years ago. The number of totally wasted games where somebody just suicides on the first hook and ruins the game for everyone was significant, like 15% or more, so now you have that many more chances for a decent match. Plus all the balance changes and updates making shit Killers and perks way better. It's honestly probably in its best state ever in terms of its content and general balance of everything. I think people are getting fatigued because the game simply isn't complex enough to allow for more varied gameplay and Killer powers. Xenomorph's power is literally going on all fours and having a shitty tail attack; these developers aren't capable of actually updating the game in a significant way.

His power is surprisingly good in chance, being able to get instant red-stain hiding and can shorten some chases with an instant down. Also being able to crouch is surprisingly useful around short loops. He's not "good" by any means, but he's enjoyable and you'll get ranked against worse survivors as your MMR won't be as high as better Killers.
