It’s crazy how this game is balanced where one little buff/debuff can change the entire gameplay.Take Sigma vs Zarya for example, she hard counters him, but if you just remove the cooldown on his shield allowing to deploy and retrieve it instantly she no longer counters him at all, he can just retreats while spamming the shield in her face.This Knife-edge balance in my opinion is one of the things that ruined the game and why heroes take too long to drop and why ones would stay dormant for years because they can’t buff them (remember when D.Va and Winston were dead for years during the double shield meta?)

Personally I'm glad that is done away with but I'm not an RNG hater by any means, depending on how it's done. For example there's stuff like RNG spawns in Counter-Strike forcing you to either take different routes to be optimal or accept that people will meet each other in the middle with variances in the timings, which I personally find really fun as opposed to Valorant's spawn system allowing you to recreate the exact same setup every time. Overwatch's combat system would pair really well with stuff like random arena shooter style powerups on the map, and I think the game doesn't need to be taken seriously at all. With perks many of the characters are even more adaptable to different compositional/map situations. And I basically felt the way I did when I make that post, because the most extreme hard counters that come to mind aren't even that bad, it feels like.
