I was looking forward to twinking with a couple of my friends. If youre a casual player, its a much more approachable goal than getting to 60 and getting bis and THEN finally being able to play optimally. Probably wont convince my friends to do that as, again, we play very little/casually. It MIGHT lead to us doing more world pvp and just biting the bullet and leveling up. It will probably lead to us just not playing. Idk, we'll see. This also sort of ruins the market for low level rare items. No one will want to spend 5-40g on rare items when youre just going to replace them in a week or two of play. Very lame change if true, please let us play how we want. There was really no where to get BGs consistently like this. And now there is no where again. I played like this, super casually and with goals of twinking a little bit, as a kid, so it's very nostalgic for me as an older player, I was having a blast with the simpler version of WSG, and would really like a way to continue. Im not a full bis sweat, I dont care if the BGs are all twink, sure its kind of funny to 1 shot a level 10, but its not the competitive gameplay we enjoy in wsg. We want good 19 wsg games with geared players on both side. Maybe I will level eventually and try to enjoy the mid level BGs, but for now, rip. Might take some time off and see if the change is reverted.

Epoch ruined vanilla for me. Classes feel great with tbc tweaked talents, most dungeon bosses are still piss easy but you have to pay some attention for some basic mechanics, professions that we're shit while leveling are now nice, some zones have very nice new quests, cool new loot too. Yes it was and it's still broken but I enjoyed this server a lot. What a fucking shame, Ascension could've invested more in this and have the best version of vanilla+ so far, but I suppose by it's design it doesn't make money. Though how did Kaytotes and his team miss so many bugs? It definetly needed more time. Still gonna keep playing on and off for now, but seeing the numbers being lower every day is demoralizing.

I played BBC+ for about 2 hours. It really is nothing like Epoch, it's not made for the same audience, the systems are just so retail-like that it's almost disgusting, I might play it once a week to mess around, but it really doesn't even come close to filling the same niche.

Epoch is still the best version of classic+ we've had so far. It didn't fail because of it's content, it failed because the original devs fucked up hard the release, and the new owners said they would take care of it and abandoned it right away. I still hope Ascension has plans for it, if while dead is still peaking at 2-3k players, imagine if it was being maintained.
