The funniest part about GK is that, outside the 3rd years, there's no real rush to even become PS by Summer HIF or especially in their first year. The only one who would care I guess is Kotone or Saki who want to beat Sena specifically. Besides that, it's not like anyone, even people like China or Hiro, or in danger of say being expelled or flunking something.Have they confirmed if Sena even became PS in her first year? She beat Owl but sounds like Owl was last years PS before Sena whopped her at Summer HIF, I believe.

GK's proposed plan of idols going up years and graduating seems incompatible with the other Imas brands where they're all in a holding pattern of aiming to be Top Idol eternally while largely remaining the same characters.Meanwhile Hatsuboshi is speedrunning through character stories (particularly Kotone) and they're all set up to be Prima Stella by winter. And then the first years have two more years of this defending the title and whatnot. Like eventually will all of the original GKs be locked at the point of graduation at 100Pro, no longer aging and pursuing Top Idol like all the other brands?I wouldn't be surprised if they shift away from those plans when the time comes to decide.

And I guess having Lantis with their anisong experience helped with that.765 and by extension ML have a bit of a Morning Musume feel to their songs, so they're open to using some nostalgic themes like OLs in Hanazakari. It was at a period of time of uncertainty with ML as they already achieved their Budokan dream, and this showed her there was a bright future to look forward to for them.
