Just finished act 4 + interlude and while I liked act 4, looking back it's pretty weird how relatively low stakes and slow the pace of PoE2 is compared to 1. For example, Act 3 and 4 could have easily been just 1 act, story wise. Also I'm probably biased for considering part 2 of PoE1, but it does make our PoE2 character feel like jobber when we're just fighting the dredges and followers of the gods that our PoE1 character already slayed.

Act 1 was pretty grim, Act 2 was so-so, but then Sarn happens where it goes full Fall of Rome degeneracy and hell raiser, then it just ramps up until Oriath in Act 5.Granted 2 does have its moments but it's all localized affairs and you don't really feel like the game is becoming more and more batshit as it goes as is often the case in ARPGs.

yeah...I think i'm done. made like 40 divs since patch, but to what end? the endgame is still boring. anything not an overrun map or ilvl81-2 zone is a poor yield.
