We started this expansion a few weeks after manaforge dropped. The most demanding thing in this game is grinding out reps with a boss, something most players never ever get to experience because they choose to throw themselves into pugs over and over again, never getting consistent experience on the boss fights. The boss fights in this raid were nothing, I had a harder time clearing Mogu vault and heart of fear in classic mop but the reasons are a little different.

I think the dumb-down of the game is to make it more appealing to classicfags to get both audiences into retail, because retail is a bigger cash grab than classic. And they were probably making a decision - do a classic+ (which they dont and are incapable of doing properly because there are no more people left at the company who understand classic philosophy) or turn retail into classic-like gameplay with 1-2 buttons.
