Kepler from what I've seen after the opening mission doesn't really seem to be much of a patrol zone, loot is soft reset in that you can still use non-exotics you have in your vault but the game pushes you towards grabbing higher tier loot, and the only way to get that loot is solely through the Portal, this new tab that always appears before the Destinations tab now in the Director. You can still get loot outside of it but none of it is tiered on the older destinations making it pointless to do anything outside of the Portal unless you find the activities fun. And at least Lightfall had Seasons still, the game doesn't even have "episodes". Once you're done with EoF its Portal grind for you until you reach the max light level of 550, but that's actually that's just a "seasonal" level. The actual Max LL cap right now is 200, while for the season it's 550. And when the season ends your LL is going to be reset back to the max of 200, meaning you'll have to spend the next season/expansion aimlessly grinding your way back up on a never ending hamster wheel.About the only positive (?) thing I guess EoF adds is dialogue text boxes? Took them a decade to add in a common feature from old school RPGs but better late than never I guess.

It's still actually incredibly insane to me that you cannot experience the destiny 2 story from beginning to whatever the latest expansion is. Bungie prides themselves on lore and world building but they have literally built up nothing inside the game at all. Most of the content that has been added to the game at some point has been removed, it's a game with more deleted content than available content. It's like building parts of a house then demolishing it to build more parts in the same spot, on repeat but for 10 years, while never intending on building the whole house to begin with.

Synthoceps is the ultimate titan exotic. Bufffing Super and Melee damage is all you need for all subclasses. Sure some use it better than others like solar or prismatic, but it's all around excellent.
