My setup is 12 digimon for my main team. I have two steam note windows on second screen. On the first i note down what personality i want them to have, what virtue it belongs to and then what food i have to feed them to optimize bond raising.On the second screen i write down for each digimon what stats requirement they do not yet fulfill to get the evolution i want, or if that's not their situation, what i plan to do with them. Depending on the training gear i send 6 of the 12 to the digifarm to train, while the other fights with me in the dungeons. Since i dont have optimal training gear yet, my team is pretty much determined by the optimal gear distribution. This is a fucking beautiful spreadsheet simulator. But it's my very first Digimon ever, so i'm probably not playing optimally (which is fine).

Tokyo surprisingly nice renditioned, but they need a higher layer of the map so that i can actually orient myself. I still dont get the Shinjuku layout. Generally i think the game is quite atmospheric visually, which is surprising to me since the new digimon games looks have always turned me off. Combat is way too fucking easy when dungeon crawling, instaheal by standing still 5 seconds is insane. Feels like Forza Horizon with Digimon in how easy they make it to level and grind and attain the digimon you want. The bosses are alright challenge-wise but also dont really do anything special, generally not very complex but there's a little depth to it.Music passes, but its another showcase to see that this is a b-studio that lacks in art direction.Story is passable, the writing is complete idiocy even for a japanese game, but it doesnt really hurt the game too much. This game is so much better paced than CS/HM it's kind of nuts. The sidequests go by quickly, you go from story event to story event with very little downtime, the grinding they found a way to make addicting after the physical torture that was PlatinumNumemon, and best of all I don't have to bake one of those fucking USBs ever again the new farm kind of sucks though and I'm not sure why, maybe it's the mobile slop tile based thing it's got going on

I then restarted the demo and did some extreme grinding, to where my bank was packed and I have still been doing some de-evolving and re-evolving, but I haven't gotten as much stats as easy as I originally did with the Impmon. I can load a bunch of my mons right now into my Impmon, but compared to how much the first file was getting me, something feels totally off.
