They also have a prophecy about the angel and monsters that's specific to the monsters being trapped underground. So did the prophecy originate before the monsters were sealed away or afterwards? Gerson says "legend says" like it's some kind of ancient prophecy so it would be weird if it was invented within his lifetime. Did the humans seal the monsters underground knowing that the monsters had a religious prophecy that involved them being sealed underground?
