People complain about Castorice meta ruining the game but I think Castorice herself is a red herring and the real problem is the Remembrance path being such a stupidly designed path that somehow contains DPS, support, and buffers at the same time to the extent that the best Remembrance team is a team with four Remembrance characters. I could see this problem coming months in advance and now it's finally coming full circle. Evernight was right, someone needs to destroy the Remembrance.It seems obvious that designing a path this way is part of a scheme to get you to pull as many of the new characters as possible because you can't just get one and call it a day, you have to get a full team to take full advantage of the path, and don't forget to pull some LCs because a new path means you don't have any saved up from the last two years of playing. It worked on me once because I like Castorice and so I got her regardless of my feelings about the Remembrance path, but it won't work again because I'm wise to their tricks now. Even if it's another character I like, if I see them doing the same shit with yet another path, those banners are getting skipped because I'll know, what's the point? I know if I pull that one there will be another path still down the line that will power creep that one, and so on and so forth. Their trick only works once. I will pull discriminately, look at new characters if they work well with existing paths and characters, and only pull the new path if I see that they did not pull this scheme again and the characters are perfectly usable without having to pull four characters from that path.
