Playing regularly every day will allow a new player to get this many astrites in close to 2 months. That's also enough time to really research and plan out what characters you really, really, really 100% truly want from the game. Even if you miss out on the current 5-star character, you only have to wait 3 months on average for a rerun of that same character. By the time you get to the rerun, you'll have enough resources to 100% guarantee getting that character.
