So just through the lens of "I want my wife to be strong" it's a good option, because you got Peeb's F2P cope from the fishing.It's hard to say which one is best or worst to choose overall since it just depends on what other characters you might roll. The guns and sword will always be good cope for those types, and the gun even has a nice supportive effect on it so it's good even on non main carries.You can also just throw your standard rolls at the gauntlets for now and see what happens in the meantime, unless you really want a standard character from the selectable banner. Being able to target the weapons is nice.
