They mentioned it before how during the world story they felt the need to let everyone finish the story but afterwards they felt like for content after the story they could go nuts and force players to play in more restricted ways. So it's the same thing here because multiplayer is their ideal vision but they tone it down for story stuff

>>541750865Stun is a general mechanic that procs once you've taken too many hits and are thrown to the floor, so you can't just intend to get hit then plan to down Mega Potions unpunished. Not many monsters have it as part of their kit, and the few that do are usually heavily telegraphed flashbangs (Gypceros, Somnacanth etc). That said, Omega's mega-beams are instant stuns if you get thrown away, which probably won't do shit to deco for, since it's basically a oneshot anyways. If you're going to deco for a status, either get 20 Fire Res so you don't get burnt (flame pulses and mustard bomb AoE, the AoE still chunks you, but you won't have to roll around before healing) or bind res (the ice pulse that's really annoying to dodge)

I admit I get roflstomped often in Savage, but I do everything I can to watch what Omega is doing and react. That said when he decides to attack me the moment I start reloading and can't do anything else until that animation is done (yes I have max Opening Shot to cut down on reload time) there's nothing I can do. Plus being at the mercy of my retarded bird who will U-turn right back into an attack, not dodge an attack, take half a minute to come get me when I call it, completely fail to picks me up, or gets stuck on the wall or an ankle-high piece of debris.
