I'm really looking forward to 1.0, but my dream is that with release comes:>remove flea, instead add lots more barters using junk items on traders>basically every junk item should have a applicable barter at various trader levels>ref should only sell cosmetic type gear for very cheap, basically you can spend 1-5gp coins for funny gear or barter gear+gp coins to get a re-skinned version of that same armor/weapon>remove ability to send money between EFT/arenaI know it won't happen, but lots of other people have made the good point that a lot of terrible decisions have been made with EFT that basically let you avoid playing the game. The flea and ref are the biggest offenders, they let you basically grind doing the same exact thing endlessly for shittloads of cash/gear. They totally reduce the variability in your gameplay. The flea just turns all junk items into a ruble value, and ref means you don't even have to play raids anymore to level. Bottom line is that the game needs to encourage players to actually do raids and risk their shit. The next key factor is that your character's kits/stash should be highly dependent on what you've found in your previous raids. The junk you find should translate into barters, not things you sell on flea to then buy exactly what you want from the flea. Of course buying gear from traders should continue, but that barters offered should be slightly better gear to encourage looking for certain items. Fuck, that's all I want. No flea, no ref.

How does this game compare to Arena Breakout infinite? I only heard negative things about tarkov but am having a blast in breakout. My biggest complaint is the bots. Do "scavs" ruin tarkov as well? Softcore has been an interesting experiment. I actually think they should keep some of the weight/inertia changes. By that I mean that the base inertia of the game should be unchanged, but the ergo/inertia/weight penalties as you got heavier were too severe. It's better for looting in general to allow players to carry more shit, and it's extremely good for solo players to allow them to take more gear out of raid if they manage to win against a squad. The hit to stamina recovery while weighed down shouldn't be so severe either. In 1.0 I think they should use what they learned from softcore and keep these inertia/weight changes but maybe dial them back by like 25%.
