The NVDs and changes to the stealth AI are transformative at night that it actually made me change my play style. Now I take my time to seriously consider if I want to go out and attack a outpost at night instead of just skipping it. I have been encountering stuff like burers much more frequently out in the Zone in places like garbage. Really funny to see their teeth get kicked in by random bandits lmao. As for the zombie, it's the modmaker's own idea based on the concept of neutral zombies that the player could interact with which is mentioned a few times in the desdocs, and it's an excuse to add a task rewarded with the gravity shotgun, which was mentioned in the documents but without any details on how the player could obtain it. Most of OLR is a more or less faithful adaptation of GSC's ideas, but hi_flyer also had to improvise with some things at times.
