i almost made a thread while it was gone but i thought i'd screw up the opbeen playing dw 2 gundam on ps2 emulation, bu't i'm at the tail end of that and what i care to complete. i wish this had an empires game.so in its place i started dw5xl and got my butt whooped in my first attempt at destiny mode. i forgot how unforgiving the first stage is when you have zero levels/upgrades

I haven't used Wei Yan in years so I took him out to a stage quick in dw3xl. man I must be rusty with him as I was not using him and his moveset very well. Im going to finish up zhu rong's musou to unlock the amazoness bodyguards and than i'll put a bit of grind into wei yan and try to get a feel for his unorthadox style of fighting.

Recently came back to the PS2 games only to do a Chaos run and a DW3 Hard run. Guess which one was harder.

I just got done playing dw5xl and beat another chaos stage fairly easily. you can tell the difference when you play both games and see how things are between them. (dw4 even has things to note between all 3 and add in the xl and it gets even easier for 4 and 5).

>>542118290It was actually DW5 Chaos, specifically the last stage tho.The DW3 Hard run wasn't that bad because first of all you don't need very high stats, and if you are getting trashed you can hope for a full recover item, while DW5 Chaos specifically removes that.Although 5's Xiaoqiao has an extremely broken jump charge so any stage that doesn't force you to go fast like Chibi is a joke
