>>541805705just doing normal questing for things like loremaster you basically level so fast you're slowed down by buying green shit. not so much as a tank but definitely as a rogue you'll feel it on big kill quests. even with them under their previous relative item level without any of the extra party sync or event catchup drops you'll maybe have 1 or 2 items that are actually better. you'll have maybe a green weapon for a few levels you can throw a cheap enchant on occasionally and a ring or trinket that's good. the older the expansion you're doing the worse it generally is.still they are a bit too expensive for a more normal player since you'll probably have more than "enough" characters somewhere between all the classes and all the specs. then all the specs barely gets you enough value to beat passing green items around yourself and buying the occasional chest/helm/pant for the armor and a few cheaper weapons on the big servers when you can just run dungeons as dps and no one will notice or gear won't even matter in timewalking. only getting 3-4 characters for the main gear pieces isn't really worth it for all the money you need to pour in after the first item.
