I always thought it was interesting that one of the qnas sort of implied that yujin was kind of xiao's counterpart, since apparently they occasionally work together for some missions. Since Yujin is technically the section 2 director, so in theory it would make more sense if she was working with Lowell on jobs instead since that would be in theory her direct counterpart in the Liu. It does kind of add to the sense that Yujin was stronger than her position might have indicated and that the directors of other associations could tell. Or that Thelma was presumably a relative incompetent weakling for his position that got there via political connections or whatever, so for actual jobs Yujin was a better choice despite her being the section 2 director and Thelma being section 1.
