Saiyans manage to kill Freeza and become conquerors who don't have to bootlick anymore, they eventually invade Earth and Kami is forced to fuse with King Piccolo to deal with the saiyans who arrive, then Raichi eventually kills the saiyans. Hoi tries to open the music box Hirudegarn is in, and Raichi spends a few days trying to do so, opens it, and has to deal with Hirudegarn, and once that's dealt with, Tapion tries to befriend Raichi.Weird situations like this is what DBM should be about, and this is the one universe that nailed it, and this kind of development is more or less the norm in Tuffle Quest... Which isn't to say it's a great story, it's interesting enough, but there are issues that occasionally cause boring or annoying moments, but she tries to understand DB and do her own sincere take on it.

Cell was kinda screwed from the start because there's no "proper" 17 and 18, so he can never actually become Perfect through normal means, but he has counterparts in the Cell Sentai that are treated both as big threats and keep some of Imperfect Cell's scheming aspects (plus they each have different personalities and skills, with their leader having a lot of genuine respect for Goku). Ozotto and Raichi/Hatchiyak end up the big endgame threats for the Z portion though.For the Kai portion, Babidi is an odd case because he gets dealt with quicker than in canon and fails to revive Buu but has a reasonably big role still, getting stuff like Majin Bojack and crew and Majin Ledgic as extra henchmen. Meanwhile Dabura survives thanks to Towa's scheming, and Buu himself has a very different eventual introduction, one that gets tied to Janemba's rampage. Plus Baby is arguably a bigger and more clever threat in the Quest than he was in GT, and even General Rildo has a really good showing, though that's probably not fair comparing it to how badly Goku kept trashing him in GT. Technically none of the Daima villains have done much beyond hints at Arinsu scheming behind Towa's back and a cameo from the Tatagamis, but I don't exactly see Gomah and Degesu's schemes working like they did in Daima. There is something brewing about the Shadow Dragons but so far it's just been setup for the next major endgame arc. I guess there's potential for some kind of Zamasu situation down the line too but that's up in the air.

If both anime were animated up to the same quality standard, GT would blow the doors off Daima by virtue of being like 3x as long and featuring more arcs, more characters, and two more Super Saiyan 4's (Vegeta and Gogeta).I also believe you could distill GT's story down to 24 KINO episodes, but there's no goddamn way you could drag Daima's out for 64.
