Finally have some time to play Master Duel after getting back home from work. And starting from my first duel of the day, I just lost 7 fucking coin flips, in a row. Also guess what my opponent's were all playing?And when I do win one, the opponent presses ALT+F4.I just want to do my dailies man and go to sleep.I'm this close to dropping this game because I only actually have time to play on weekends but I need to do this shit every 3 days and it ALWAYS takes forever for different reasons, doesn't matter if I'm playing a suicide deck or a meta one. Im using mitsurugi with springans. Mitsurugi by itself is silly with how it can go full combo with a single card and is so idiot proof that it can pull wins even if you make a bunch of mistakes playing it...but I guess mixing it with the midness of springans balances it out into a mostly fair deck

There's not a ton to say on the subject other than URs are largely all that matters in the long run so try to maximize the odds that you pull URs you need by pulling from packs that have lots of different URs you want.A good rule of thumb for selection packs is that if it has 4 different URs you want in it then definitely spend gems on it. If it has 3 maybe spend gems. If it has 2 then you should probably craft the rest unless you have a bunch of gems and few UR CP.Also the bundles that come with a specific UR are good deals.Since it sounds like you're familiar with modern Yugioh then yeah, Mitsu makes the most sense assuming you actually like the sound of playing that deck.

Anyone here have a good amount of Fiendsmith Vaalmonica experience? I'm trying to figure out how to optimally play the deck but having Dimonno go to the ED makes standard Fiendsmith combos not work properly, and looking up combos there are so many different ways people are playing it, some using Abao, some using Necroquip, some using Duke of Demise, some using Aerial Eater, some using M7, etc.

In the current lines you actually just use it as an extra draw when you open FS, since you can trigger it by setting Vaalmonica scales and then go into the usual stuff after. There's also some merit in going for Caesar or Apo over Desirae since scales + Desirae equips only leaves you 2 open zones for backrow. It's not out of the question that you run out.

If you just want the extra light fiend, you can just use the extra body for summoning Sequence and save the ED slot. The other common situation is when you get Selettrice negated with scales up, but in that situation the play is link into Artemis > add back Selettrice > pend Selettrice > Link 2. Exciton doesn't work in that situation.

>>542186264Going first with Fiendsmith is likely better than doing an OTK build. Gem Knight made up about a third of the last Duelist Cup top 100 and only one of them was on an OTK build. Most were either doing the Mjollnir lock, or were searching Pachy then normaling it. But you don't have to do that, I think the guy who got 7th was running neither of those.Though it's also likely that part of the reason the board breaker route didn't do well is because of the people running shit like Mjollnir and you won't run into that as much on ladder.I like the OTK builds more, they're a lot of fun.
