I've got all the quests done, finished the field guide and got all the cards (Thank god they aren't as bullshit nonsense as CS medals to collect them all. You can buy most of them from shops instead of being random, no naming errors that give false positives, and they are consistently dropped by who actually is depicted. I still don't understand how the actual card game works for the particular mechanics.)
Other than finding the remaining Outer Dungeons (and getting the no collision item from two of the Peckmon races), is there any thing I should be aiming for first, or just build up a maxed out team so I can beat Mega+ difficulty?

Also it seems like Gankoomon gives scan data when fought, but not the other Royal Knights.

Pretty sure you can choose to keep her as catamaran once you digivolve again, so you can keep a physical one and a separate Lanamon for magic damage and use both. Iirc, there are bosses that also shifts their resistances, so mixed attacking isn't always a bad thing either.

Different topic, what if to make a story with the focus on the Tentei Hachibushu, it could be done as a Warriors game? There's a Warriors game for almost every major IP in existence made by Koei Tecmo AND ONLY KOEI TECMO, and Digimon should be no exception.
And to connect to that, maybe label each of the composite Spirits of KaiserGreymon and MagnaGarurumon with their own unique labels due to the even split from the Warriors of Light and Darkness: the Five Local Spirits of Pure Nature (referencing each element being found in nature), and the Five Foreign Spirits of Industrial Revolution (with each element serving as tools in industrial revolution, including energy like hydropower energy and iron).
