I think the riding mechanic is pretty neat but it feels half-baked. It's just used as a way to move a bit faster. There're a ton of good waifumon that haven't been brought up yet. Sakuyamon's generally pretty useful. Solid coverage and brings a utility you might not have on your team depending on your other slots. Kuzuhamon gets reversed and suddenly she resists dark and gets 90 power 25% crit that hits virus and dark resistances with multipliers. BeelStarmon isn't as bad as people were worried about because it turns out that humanoid is a pretty relevant typing. Lotosmon gets 3 skills and one of them is a premium debuff.The really fucking big losers I've seen are Rosemon and Ceresmon. I can't think of a single scenario where they're worth dedicating a slot to.

I'm just doing it to stay thematic / have lower evo requirements on the Garurus and Kimeramon, but spending those points in stats you'd probably still reach them anyway.I think staying within those personalities does give you the best Skills (fortifying charge, cheer, stout strength) but nothing is stopping you from just going Valor after that.I just wasted 50 points in the "double the duration of item buffs if there's a Sociable Digimon" because it's mandatory before the ATK Boost level 3, but I'm never planning on using stat boosts and you can't even do it on Mega+.Friendship seems to be focused on item usage

The mode-change mechanic is too cool to be wasted on the handful of digimon that have it, I hope they go wild it next game and do something like if you digimon meets the requirements for multiple evolutions by the time it evolves you can pick two of them and freely slide between them in battle

I just realized they removed unique skills from CS, what a way to dumb down the game.The release skills weren't all good but the concept was great, so technically every Digimon had a niche, and modders actually made each unique skill useful.

Also, as someone previously said, the fact her AOE skill does bonus damage against Digimon with the Bird Trait is a head-scratcher, since Bird Digimon are significantly less common in the stretch of game where you reach Agent Rank 7 and onwards.Either she should have committed fully to an anti-Humanoid trait niche with both of her skills, or they should have ditched the Bird Trait bonus damage on Hurricane Screw Shot and beefed up the base power to compensate.
