I have been catching up with the story last week and beat Lygus yesterday. The cinematics and the buildup where he is revealed to be a copy of Zandar were sick, but the fight was kind of weak and on the level of Cirrus. With Aquila I never expected the kino third phase, but here I was expecting for the story to switch back to a new phase right until I met Evernight in the Vortex and was disappointed with the quest ending.
I've been rolling Saber instead of Amphoreus and I don't regret it one bit.
