So, I had been playing Warhammer II since the Hunter and the Beast dlc, and had 500 hours on that game by the time I decided recently to move to Warhammer III for more races. I kind of like that they tried to make infantry more distinct in pharaoh; axes are good against shielded infantry, spears are good against large, swords are versatile, and clubs permanently damage armor. It gives a little more tactical depth than just looking for units that have the highest ap and churning out stacks of them. Lethality is okay, and only really shines when you gimp the range of archers and properly set up flanks/kill zones. It's a little more strategic than leaving them in the backline to arc fire or duel enemy ranged. I honestly wouldn't mind if they carried these mechanics into the next historical game.
