When there's a bot drop with 2 striders and 3 tanks (plus assorted hulks of course), you really cant wait for the ~40 seconds it takes for Quasar to take down a SINGLE tank out of multiple after the first shot. If Quasar misses or gets flinched during the chargeup, thats another 20 seconds to the tally. EATs can be stacked in positions you know you need to hold and they "cool down" even after the 15-second period of Quasar. Not saying its objectively worse, I just dont find the higher theoretical sustained DPS worth the tradeoff of having zero burst when you need it. One doesnt struggle when things are slow and steady, one struggles when shit hits the fan and thats when Quasar tends to underperform.
