But yeah sadly I read through every single one because even newer umas like Espoir and Believe have hidden events which happen occur when you hit a certain number or combo of races. That and it’s actually pretty fun to roam through the scene gallery since a lot of the one off events like dieting and over racing are uniquely written to their personalities.
The last event story I read was the Mirako gang. Like most regulars here I normally skip them because they're all vapid filler-tier garbage by default, why would anyone but a honeymooning newfag read them? I'm not a woman. And if there's a cool or cute new animation or prop someone's holding it'll get meme'd on twitter, no need to read anything to enjoy that vectorNow funnily enough, in retrospect I found the Mirako event managed to exceed those expectations. You might think the Mirakos would be nothing but a dumb name relation or the fat/thin dichotomy, and yes the event was mainly slice of life nonsense with a bit of consequence-less melodrama tacked on at the end. But the fat one turns out to be a bit of a unsung hero, being a pillar of kind normalcy for both Dantsu and thin Mirako. I like what fat tells thin in the last chapter, it's a better and more "realistic" friendship than most you'd find in any fiction. All while avoiding the common and pretentious FRIENDSHIP IS MAGIC cliche. Ultimately it made me believe there might be another event worth reading in the future
