You also have to get lucky that the second bomb targets mika... in a worst case you get the buff off before she dies since it should last until after the boulder bounce to do burst.Part 2 on the other hand is trivial, as long as another student eats the feather attack mika can be pinballed around the arena and just kill it on her own.

But if you actually play the game and read the story, see the clues along the way, and naturally reach the conclusions of the story while understanding all the lore within the context of the story, it makes perfect sense. Stories do not work without context. The problem is people here try to autistically spoil newfags with half baked information out of context to make them give up on the game. You kinda already admitted earlier you don't like the background lore, you don't really like people bringing it up, you want to portray it dumbly to kill discussion of it. You can badly describe any Japanese game and it sounds retarded, you can say Little Busters is about a bunch of dead children in a dream dimension where they all play baseball until they can accept they're dead, yeah you can get people to stop reading it by just spoiling things out of context and making people think its stupid, but if they actually read the game in context they realize it makes sense and was foreshadowed all along.tl;dr: A story isn't just random out of context spoilers 100 hours into the game. The writing is what makes a story believable.
