The G3 is a beast, I've ditched both the M7 and the HK417. 3-shot kill up to like 20m, 4-shot kill from there out, really manageable recoil. Slow ROF and 20 round mag but honestly, I don't care. I think I've had it used maybe twice since I've unlocked it, most squadmates will just instantly spawn on the next squadmate in my experience. Even when I've had it on a flank, even when its in areas that aren't usually possible to reach.

I was an engineer with a stinger and a friend was a recon and it took like 30 minutes to teach him how to paint a target and then he just stopped doing it. When I'm recon, I do it for randos. I'm playing the BF6 campaign and in the 2nd mission they jump into an elevator shaft. They climb down by just raw dog grabbing by the bare hands a thick rusted metal cable that descends like 400ft.It took me out of the experience so hard for some reason. I did smoke before hand but still. It just like made no sense at all, so unrealistic that it was impossible to accept even for the "fantasy" setting of the game.

The best use for it is just finding a universal setting that mitigates vertical recoil (which actually ends up being a very, very minor reduction if you apply it across the board) and setting it up to tap-fire in specific intervals. You're not using these to aimbot anybody or reload faster or anything. I was able to turn that one DMR with the 10 rounders into a full-auto weapon, but it still kind of sucks.
