If you compare Skyrim to Morrowind, you'll see a lot of design decisions that also skew towards the casual gamer, at the expense of deeper experiences or hard choices. in morrowind since so much of the loot you had to find on your own hidden in the world, you could reach the end and never have a full suit of daedric armor. then you go to skyrim and most of the "rare" stuff is simply handed to the player and daedric can simply be made at your local forge with materials from fast travel points and minimal resistance. no longer does your armor have a story or connection to you as a player. They all become cheap participation medals or cheap plastic happy meal toys from the forges of Whiterun. In Cyberpunk, you could afford an inexpensive vehicle early on, find a few great ones around the world based on your progression and have enough money to buy 1 or 2 high end cars to match your character. But now you can buy everything. while these systems can be avenues for player expression, it might need to be as shallow as most players, who cant appreciate it anyway, just to keep them happy.

Meanwhile V has no real buildup to fall for River; they work together on one case and suddenly V's the only person he can think to call when trying to find his nephew. Even lies to V about still being on the force when they break in to the clinic, which turns out his ex works at. And she doesn't have much good to say about River, who's really not making a good impression with how utterly desperate he acts in the clinic.

You can build a cyber ninja and go full Rules of Nature against enemies while also Jedi-deflecting bullets back at them. And hacking is... well, it's super powerful but it's not all that engaging.Outside of boss battles the badass cyborg feeling doesn't always come through, simply due to enemies scaling with you. You'll always be able to bullet time on demand, but apart from the max Body brick shithouse build you won't always get that feeling of being a walking tank. Good news is that there's only 5 skill trees and you're always able to max out 3 of them on any playthrough.But to roll back to the first sentence of the previous paragraph, the badass cyborg feeling really comes true in each of the main boss battles as you're fighting equally chromed out enemies who have access to the same kind of enhancements that you do.

You can feel like a borg depending on what you do, you might like a blunt weapons build from the sound of it. The setting of CP kinda reminds Deus Ex, but it tends to exagerate the anti-corpo angle to the point it's almost tongue in cheek satiric.

What quickhacks do the least long-term harm? I try to go non-lethal, but I imagine burning or poisoning people has knock-on effects.
