I'm only in Chapter 1 and there are dozens of instances of Gungho just straight up only translating half of the sentences.When you get to Valleria Lake and speak with Lloyd about the Sky Pirates the localizers not only translated it wrong, but only translate half of the sentence. In the Japanese version Lloyd jokes that he saw ghosts and speculates that they were the ghosts of a couple that committed a double suicide due to being shunned.JP: もしかしたら、周囲に認められずに心中したカップルだったのかも……My Rough Translation: Perhaps they were a couple who took their own lives because they weren't accepted by those around them...Gungho Translation: Perhaps they were planning a double suicide...In the english version in my screenshot, Gungho somehow interpreted it as them planning a double suicide and were on their way to go commit it, not even being ghosts. When the Japanese version clearly states that they already killed themselves and were the ghosts of that couple that committed a double suicide.Then for some inexplicable reason, Gungho only translated half the sentence, completely leaving out the part about Lloyd speculating that they killed themselves because they were shunned? This has happened a lot between the beginning of the game and now. I can only speculate that maybe it was a coding issue and they had to cut out some dialogue in order to fit text into text boxes?
