It’s crazy how you have to really be committed to this game to enjoy it. Think about it. Heroes release once a month, the first week of a hero release is the absolute worst time to play because everyone’s fighting to try the new hero, and ignoring established role etiquette because they have one thing on their mind and that’s trying the new hero. Add in all the casuals that come back to try the hero but in general aren’t very good at the game and you have 12 weeks of just absolutely awful matches. Then consider that all classic skins are timed exclusives, that require a daily grind, and suddenly the game feels like homework instead of a game you play for fun.

This is partially because they're not good at teaching, but also just bad at understanding and analyzing. Just go ahead and watch some video or stream where a "coach" is going through someone's replay to tell them what to do or fix and most of it is extremely shallow or even wrong.It's simply a completely different skillset not everyone has and few have this, the mechanical skill and experience. The ones that do tend to be drawn to games with worthwhile competitive scenes like CS, Dota 2 or whatever.

You know what?Namor is terrible. He's probably the worst poke in the game, his squids are a joke and most divers just ignore them now especially BP who gets extra overhealth for no reason. His squid team-ups were the only thing making his character strong and with the hela teamup is nice but I wouldn't say its even remotely as good as having that third squid crackdown on divers. Sometimes I have 50% hit accuracy with his spears and it still feels like ass and I can never secure kills unless its a flick to the head which is astoundingly shit.I think I'm gonna stick to starlord again.

Jeff can still survive the initial burst with his self healing and then can escape while out healing the follow ups and DD just runs away like every other dive character against jeff.
