As long as you can get the new Xyz to the graveyard during the opponents turn I think it's fine, though I haven't played Springans in a while and I have a migraine so I can't lab out anything myself just yet.

Call of the Archfiend seems similar to Call of the Haunted, but doesn't have any of the stipulations that comes with Call of the Haunted, so what happens?
