That thing is real sweet if you want to run around like a maniac and full auto. Every other omg I like to set up from farther out and tap away. When I'm shooting a bot I'm a literal god hitting all my shots even at long range when they're on the move.When I'm shooting at a real player I can instantly fucking tell. That being said, the training paths specifically some are horrible and some are easy. Once you get past the first two challenges in the assault path, its not too bad. Engineer is by far the easiest to do and the only one that feels like it was made by someone smart. Since pretty much everything you do in it is something you're constantly doing anyways as an engineer. Support is probably the second easiest, especially once you get past the first challenge. Recon is by far the worse and most insufferable. If I had to rate: Engineer > Support > Assault > Recon. The unlock rewards are as follows for each1: Gadget, 2: Training Path, 3: Cosmetic, 4: Gadget, 5: Cosmetic, 6: Cosmetic. For assault, I'd recommend getting at least the first one. easy to farm on bot servers. Deploy beacon is insanely good. For Support, I'd recommend at least getting up to 4. The 4 gadget is pretty good. For engineer, the training path is probably what I would say the furthest I recommend as engineer training path is insanely good if you're a vehicle player. Supply crate can be super good on breakthrough or if you like to tank in a vehicle (AA tank for example). But not sure I'd call it "meta". Recon I'd say at least get the first gadget. The c4 since it allows you to take down tanks with C4. Past that, eh not worth it.

And right now challenges are in direct conflict with that. For example, say you want to be an up close and personal Recon player. Not a sniper. The training path that supports this playstyle requires you to get 150m headshots. So that's causing major friction. Stuff like that is just stupid. They can keep the current challenges, just make all the rewards cosmetic. Then take the gadgets/training paths and put them behind challenges that are progressed no matter how you play your class. As long as you're close to the role. The engineer class assignments are the only ones that did a good job at this, save for a couple. "Repair Vehicles" and "Deal damage to vehicles". That's the role of the engineer and class specific training paths/gadgets should be unlocked through doing EITHER of those two things as a player. For support: Revives and resupply. Assault: killing infantry and contesting objectives. For recon, using a sniper or things around intelligence (spotting, painting targets, etc). These "core roles" of each class should be the path to unlocking gadgets/training paths as long as you're doing one of them. If they didn't put gadgets/paths behind these challenges, youd' be seeing 1/10th of the complaints guaranteed.
