Swords have good damage with mild reduction in action speed and evasion but no gimmick, hammers can stun and you still deal damage even when miss (reduced amount) but made you slow and surety also goes down, spears allow you attack enemy in second row if you at front or enemy's frontline if you in back row and don't have any reduction in stats, axes have same damage as swords with evasion and action speed reduction of hammers but have defence penetration which allows you ignore some defence of enemies. Generally axes are best damage dealing weapon, but some characters have preferences like Livana have bonuses when equipped with axes and Geruff with hammers.

Game works on the steam deck again if you use the bleeding-edge beta version of proton experimental. You get to drink 3 brews of any type, an extra 4th brew that align with your alignment will not progress you to the next stage. Basically you can drink up to 4 types as long as at least 1 brew match with alignment.
