i have it on good authority that a reboot has been in devlopment for at least 2 years, covering the story and including fcharacters from the tekken 1 and 2 cast. Grapevine says it isnt necessarily the new direction for the franchise but rather a spinoff that will coexist with Tekken 9. reboot plays more like 5 while 9 will be the true next vision of tekken according to the developers. but you didnt hear this from me.

I've only ever played Tekken casually, so I don't know any better. What I do know is that characters have a lot of moves and I think you're encouraged to use moves that that you like and mesh with a playstyle that you come up with. I think that, hypothetically, every character should have a dozen ways you can play them. Is this so or does everybody conform to one "viable" way to play any such character?
