The thing with Omens is that they have a mechanical identity of being weird spins on class identity so it was inevitable that they'd either be unplayable or fucking retarded since the set had to make them self-sufficient archetypes under the limited card pool. If they didn't want to create a new set of originals there were better cycles to play off of. Omen into GBF is especially rough since it means the Anathema cycle is just sitting around undeveloped and the Ward storyline is a total mystery.The distinction between RoB and Granblue is pretty important though just because the RoB core is ubiquitous across the company overall. They're like a mascot collection while the Granblues are just Granblues. You expect RoBs and they have a mechanical identity tied to them, you don't expect Granblues. Like Vampy and Lucifer are iconic in Shadowverse following their RoB legacy but Vira isn't.
