She's denied herself for so long because she thought she couldn't do it, or that it wasn't her who could do it. Yet she chases on to do good with these doubts because that's the right thing to do.Canto 8 made me sob like a bitch, because Hong Lu is LITERALLY ME and seeing him let himself care about things even knowing they'll go away is wonderful. He's resigned himself to washing his hands of the world since nothing lasts and he can't do anything about it, but he learns the importance of the moment and lets himself care again and to get his hands dirty with the world that he couldn't be bothered with before.These are all beautiful, and seeing them overcome their struggles with hope in their heart is wonderful. I'm not expecting Canto 9 to turn me into a bitch but who knows.
