To think, there was a time I planned on playing this to be introduced into to lore.
I find combat basically impossible when you're facing 2+ enemies without cheesing it somehow. There doesn't seem to be a block at all, just a dodge, and the 'parry' is some gay thing where you dodge into people. The Tremere disciplines are actually pretty decent minus the teleport, but their use is so limited, you really just have to feed constantly. When I first saw the abilities screen I thought they at least added some more nuance to disciplines, but then I realized each track is just a clan's one discipline, so everyone just ends up with the same character anyways. That's really gay and lame. Same with character customization, it's really just some makeup and one of four hair styles but in multiple colors, I thought they'd go a little more in depth with it. Feeding seems like kind of a chore, I don't see any way to really lure anyone anywhere, and every alley seems to have a kissing couple and 3+ hobos looking at each other, it really seems like you're just meant to feed in combat constantly. I'm trying to give the game a fair chance, it obviously sucks dick as a Bloodlines sequel, but even as it's own thing it just seems kind of half baked. Paradox and TCR really fucked up.

Can someone explain to me how I can get the Clan Quest Mod working on the original VtMB steam version? Just installing doesn't work and if I try to install the unofficial patch first, which fixes the base game, it breaks the mod so that doesn't work either
