After trying out all the guns I can say M4a1 is easily the overall best gun in the game. Similar dps as KV9 but without the huge damage drop off and mag size drawback for close range, and similar dps as Kord at medium and long range at the cost of slightly more recoil and spread. The only gun that comes close is Kord but Kord is much worse at close range with the bad hip fire and slow ads speed.

After the guns get rebalanced, I think they should just remove all the class bonuses for guns, as in just apply the bonuses to everyone. If it's open weapons, it should truly be open weapons. People are already running around with SMGs but notice that no one is running around with LMGs off support because they aren't as OP and the ADS time on other classes is brutal. The actual gun balance is the problem, not whether one class gets more recoil or ADS time with a specific weapon over the other. Who gives a fuck. The one and only weapon that seems weird on another class is a sniper rifle. I would say buff some of the sniper squad progression bonuses to make the rifle better instead of making it retardedly inaccurate to other classes.

I just joined one of those unlimited ammo spawn kill servers and got 500 kills and when i checked my kills and smg progression and stuff it didnt change at all after i completed that match

You can either pick a male or female, and from there you can customize their outfits, and the best part about it was that they were no-named soldiers, no specialists or operators like we saw in later installments.

If you ask me, I seriously believe that the root cause of these farming servers is due to the all-around progression issue in this game, both challenges AND weapon leveling. I have never played a Battlefield game as grindy as this. Fuck, not even Battlefield 3, 4, Hardline, or 2042 were as grindy as this. The closest I can think of is Battlefield 2. Like, according to one source, in order to go from Mastery 0 to Mastery 50 for a gun, a player needs anywhere between 1,700 to 1,800 kills. Keep in mind that in BF2042 you only needed 1,200 kills to get the Tier 1 camo and--on average--360 kills to unlock all attachments. Battlefield 6 is WAY too grindy, and I am getting sick and tired of that argument of "Well, Battlefield's don't come out every year." Yeah, and you know what too much a grind does? Turns off the casual player, and next thing you know the only ones left are the hardcore players and the game slowly begins to fade into obscurity. Activision and Call of Duty has this formula down to a science: Always keep the player entertained and rewarded.
