if you guys are confused about anything you should play the tutorial missions (free gems) from the missions menu. I was surprised how concise they were. took me no time at all and covered basically everything about combat and the roguelike to get you started.also found out if you just nudge and position your characters during autoplay you get much better results, so you can still autoplay but with some micromanagement. I found that playstyle pretty fun.

proving grounds is the boss mode where you can challenge bosses 3 times for rewards and it resets weekly on mondays. you can continue to challenge bosses even after the 3 challenge attempts for that boss are used but you don't get any rewards. unlocks at authorization level 21, and you have all week to do it.

Anyways played CZN for a bit. It's a more polished gacha experience, but at the same time I think it's lacking something. For story, I think Stella Sora ends up better. Characters are a lot more charming and we aren't being bombarded by a ton of them. Gameplay, both games are actually pretty fun, though can already see problems with both games in the future. For the roguelike aspects, I think CZN does better simply because the events are more interesting. Content wise, hard to say since I haven't gotten far enough in either.

just did an ascension run while trying to lock in a nice build for one of my alt teams, and at level 40 going into the level 50+ ascension the difficulty increase is noticeable. had to actually watch my positioning the whole time and make good choices for cards while also being thankful for the healing npcs that I used to think were useless. spending hp on upgrades became a real consideration for once. also found out that I was building the discs completely wrong and how to utilize notes and unlocking disc abilities properly. also level your monolith research, the bonuses are great.
